ABOUT AMY

Amy Sillman is a trained scientist (AB degree in biochemical sciences from Harvard University, PhD in immunology from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania) with 18 years of experience in basic and translational research. Her areas of expertise include immunology, cell biology, signal transduction, and oncology biomarkers.

In addition, Amy received professional training in scientific writing from Mimi Zeiger at UCSF and editing at Phon Baillie’s Edit Republic, in the High-Level Proofreading Pro Course and The Art of Line Editing Course. She recently earned the Professional Certificate in Medical Writing from the University of California San Diego Division of Extended Studies, and is a proud member of the American Medical Writers Association.
